Pear SauceServe over berries, gingerbread or spice cake. 2 medium pears, peeled, cored, and sliced Combine first 3 ingredients in blender container; process until smooth. Combine pear mixture, sugar, cornstarch and water in a medium-size saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat, and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Remove from heat; cool. Yields 2 2/3 cups.
